The truth is, however, that money is not at the top of the list of what people work for. I’m not saying that people should be poorly paid, that is clearly unacceptable, but most people’s prime motivation for going to work is job satisfaction. That has been proved time and again in countless employee surveys. So, if you can create satisfied employees, it’s likely that you will also create a great customer experience. How do you find out what creates a satisfied employee? Ask them!
